Hello, my name is Richard and I started Wise Watts because I'm passionate about creating a smarter, fairer, and more sustainable society. A big task for sure. But I'm confident that we can do it!
Here's my plan!It doesn't require massive cuts in lifestyle or returning to simple pre-industrial living. My plan is simply about being responsible and smart, and seeing the opportunity within the problem. It is about understanding the impact of the way you live, and the true cost of the goods and services you buy. It is about seeing your actions as having an effect beyond youself. It is about embracing the latest energy saving and clean renewable energy solutions And enacting the simple, free, wise energy choices that save money, energy and the environment.
My plan is about Energy Knowledge and Action, about enacting smart energy choices that will save you thousands of dollars in energy costs, and hundreds of tonnes in CO2 emissions. But much more than that! It is also about Inspiration. It is about magnifying the effect of your positive understanding and action by proudly owning those actions and thereby encouraging your friends and neighbours to think and act as well.
I would like to help you do 3 important things; Knowledge. Understand your carbon impact and energy options.
Action. Develop a prioritised energy action plan. And start it by doing the easiest, best and most profitable things first.
Inspiration. Proudly share your understanding with family, friends and neighbours. Encourage them to act as well.
